The Comic-Con trailer for 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald' just arrived and it's high on everything the franchise promises.
There's a lot for the eyes to feast on in this three minutes long trailer. From Johnny Depp's awesomely awesome Grindelwald to Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander, every one looks action-ready, every time.
Those who didn't like the fact that the first Fantastic Beasts movie felt different from the main Harry Potter movies will be glad to know Hogwarts will be making a reappearance on the big screen. When it finally arrived, it looked splendid, as always. The scene where Professor Dumbledore was teaching about the Boggart got me yelling "Riddikulus" too.
Talking about Professor Dumbledore, I can't be the only one not feeling Jude Law in the role yet. it's definitely not his fault though. I got too attached to the older version so that makes it harder for this 'new character' to penetrate my heart. I guess I'll just wait till I see the full movie.
On a plus side, there's more credence destroying stuff and many, many more fantastic beasts. There's even an appearance from Nicolas Flamel, which is a first in the franchise's history. Pottermore fans will remember him as the alchemist who created the Philosopher's stone (or Sorcerer's stone as it's known in some region).
Enjoy the full trailer below.
David Yates returns to direct the movie from a screenplay by JK Rowling. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is produced by David Heyman, JK Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram and is set to open in theaters November 16.
